Summer 2020 Newsletter

Dear Fellow Member-Owners,
Good heavens, how fast things can change! Like you, all of us here at your credit union are doing our best to stay optimistic, healthy and focused on helping you during these trying times. While our lobbies remain closed, we remain fully staffed and spending our time making outboard calls to check on your financial health. While we are finding many of you are doing fine, some of you are truly struggling due to layoffs, sickness, etc.
If you find yourself going through challenging times, PLEASE do not be shy about reaching out. Remember that you own this place and that you have hired us to assist you through both good times and bad. You may be surprised with how proactive we can be in helping you get some “breathing space” on your loans or other things to reduce stress levels.
Conversely, if you find yourself doing well, there is no better time to take advantage of these very low interest rates to either purchase or refinance a home or car. Our financing programs remain very attractive, so it can’t hurt to see how much money we can save you.
Many banks “talk the talk” but when it comes to really helping someone in a tough spot, they are nowhere to be seen. We refuse to behave this way. It is in times like these that a financial institution needs to step up and help—and I mean really help—their members.
That is my personal commitment to you—to provide Leadership When it Matters. Hopefully we can show you firsthand that we are able to deliver on that pledge.
Please stay positive and never lose hope that better times will soon return.
