Summer 2022 Newsletter
Posted on Aug 25, 2022
Dear Fellow Owners,
Summer is still in full swing! There is no better time to get out and enjoy yourself, whether that means a trip to your favorite beach, a family barbecue, or taking in a ball game. Speaking of ball games, we celebrated our partners (employees) with a picnic at a South Bend Cubs game in July. It was an incredible turnout, and it was great seeing our hard-working partners enjoy a beautiful day at the ballpark.
Our Moreau Branch recently underwent a transformation, joining Portage and Granger as the third location to install interactive teller machines (ITMs). We like to call these ITMs a “credit union in a box,” where you can interact with a teller using video-based technology. The ITMs allow you to complete many of the same teller services provided inside the branch, such as cashing a check, checking your balance, making a deposit, and transferring funds. Our partners spent the week outside in the drive-up lanes, greeting Owners and first-time ITM users to ensure a great experience and continuing to provide
first-class service to everyone in our credit union family.
Our ultimate goal is to convert all our drive-up lanes to ITMs, which enable you to do more without going into the branch and allows us to offer interactive banking beyond normal business hours.
With the recent acquisition of Mission Management & Trust, we have also taken the step to open a small retail branch in Tucson, AZ. The purpose of this office will be to offer credit union services to new Owners coming to us through Mission, plus beginning to serve an entirely new group of businesses, non-profits, churches, and retail members in Southern Arizona. Very exciting times!
As always, we set ourselves apart by putting people over profit. So far this year we have saved you over $2,000,000 in your monthly payments and have given back over $1,100,000 to our communities.
We look forward to continuing to provide products and services you won’t find at a regular bank, and that means keeping an open line of communication. If you notice any ways we can improve, or have questions, suggestions, comments, or complaints, please let me know at [email protected](link sends e-mail).
Thanks again for being part of our credit union family!
