I want to begin by thanking you for another exceptional year at Notre Dame FCU! We take immense pride in serving you and 2023 was no different. Our credit union family continues to grow across the country and we are committed to bringing our unique organization to as many people as possible.

In 2023, we expanded our reach within our existing markets by opening the Elkhart Mortgage Center, enhancing our ability to serve our growing membership in Elkhart County, Indiana. Additionally, our Credit Union Service Organizations (CUSOs)—Mission Management & Trust, Mission Insurance Solutions, and Mission Asset Protection—played a crucial role in broadening our financial service offering. These organizations enable us to offer a comprehensive suite of financial solutions, ensuring that our owners have access to the best possible resources to meet all their financial needs.

The year 2023 was marked by significant financial turmoil as we navigated multiple rate hikes by the U.S. Federal Reserve. While these increases posed challenges for our borrowers, it had the opposite effect on our savers, who were able to see much more attractive rates on our checking and CD products. As is our mission, through these challenges we prioritized the needs of our owners and other stakeholders by keeping our rates competitive while at the same time investing over 17% of our net profits back into the communities we serve.

I am deeply grateful for your continued support and loyalty. Hearing your praises for Notre Dame FCU is always humbling. Your word-of-mouth recommendations are invaluable and speak volumes about our Notre Dame FCU family. In 2023, we were honored as the South Bend Tribune Community’s Choice Awards Best Financial Institution for the 11^th consecutive year and 5^th consecutive Best Mortgage Lender. In addition, we were recognized nationally as a Best Credit Union to Work For, and our national call center was recognized for 40 consecutive months as Best in Customer Service by Live Help Now. This recognition underscores our collective effort to provide a seamless and enjoyable banking experience, improving lives, one interaction at a time.

Our achievements would not be possible without the unwavering dedication of our Notre Dame FCU partners (employees). They are the heartbeat of our credit union, tirelessly working to understand and meet your needs. Their commitment ensures that Notre Dame FCU remains more than just a financial institution.
