Shred-a-Thon

Protect your identity and help Michiana’s kids at the same time at the Shred-A-Thon for 16 Pack-A-Backpack—Saturday, June 20 from 7AM to Noon at the WNDU studios.

WNDU-TV and the Better Business Bureau are joining forces with Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, Goodwill, and the Kelly Cares Foundation to help you and Michiana’s kids.  For a small donation, we’ll shred your sensitive documents to help you protect your identity.

Our security experts from Iron Mountain Records Management will handle your documents with care.  They can shred documents with staples and paper clips, but please—no binders or binder clips.

We’re asking for a $5 minimum Pack-A-Backpack donation per carload.  Larger donations for bigger loads are appreciated.  We will accept cash and checks.  If you donate by check, please make your check payable to Goodwill.  And be sure to write Pack-A-Backpack on the memo section of the check.

Every penny collected will help provide back to school supplies for area kids through 16 Pack-A-Backpack.  Five dollars can provide a backpack.  For around ten dollars, we can provide a backpack and enough supplies to give a child a good start on the new school year.

So join us for the Shred-A-Thon, protect your identity, and help Michiana kids at the same time.
