WHITING, IN – March 24, 2026 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) has named Nathan “Nate” Shaw Jr. as Vice President, National Director of Access & Outreach. In this role, Shaw supports the growth of consumer and commercial lending, oversees deposit portfolio development, and collaborates across retail sales, commercial lending, and business development to expand access and strengthen member relationships.

Shaw brings more than 25 years of experience in business development, community development, and relationship management. Throughout his career, he has led multi-million-dollar territories, managed complex product portfolios, and worked closely with business leaders and institutional stakeholders to drive growth, implement strategic initiatives, and improve outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama.

At Notre Dame FCU, Shaw is responsible for supporting consumer and commercial loan growth, deposit portfolio development, and relationships with select employer groups that connect employees to the credit union’s products and services. He also collaborates closely with retail sales, commercial lending, and business development teams to identify opportunities that align with the credit union’s mission and long-term strategic priorities.

Shaw also serves as an Executive Board Member for the NAACP branch in Gary, Indiana, reflecting his ongoing commitment to community engagement and outreach.
