Old Dog, New Tricks

Posted on Oct 11, 2022

Tessa is a very well-trained, 11-year old mixed breed dog.  She has good house manners and likes to be told what a good girl she is, but Tessa is not really a “dog person”. Luckily, her friends, Ben and Kristen, are dog people. Even though they are not able to be Tessa’s forever family (since they already have two dogs at home), they make time each week for something like they to call Wednesdays with Tessa.

Ben and Kristen pick up their furry friend from Pet Refuge Shelter each week and take her out for a hike through the park, play in the stream or to pick up a frosty treat. Tessa’s human friends are able to from Point A to Tessa each week thanks to their auto loan from Notre Dame FCU.
