Notre Dame Federal Credit Union Promotes Two in Its Commercial Lending Team

NOTRE DAME, IN – February 15, 2022 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) announced today the promotion of Nick Matthews to Director of Commercial Lending and Credit. Matthews joined the credit union in 2016 as the Director of Commercial Lending. Matthews has helped grow the credit union’s commercial lending department by establishing best practices and developing talent such as commercial analysts and commercial lenders. Matthews earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State and has 15-years of banking experience.

The credit union also announced that Matt Verhamme was promoted to Manager of Commercial Lending. Verhamme joined the credit union in 2021 after moving home to the Michiana area from Boston, MA, where he spent 12-years working as a Commercial Analyst and Commercial Lender. A University of Notre Dame undergraduate, and University of Massachusetts MBA, Matt has primarily worked on commercial real estate transactions with additional experience navigating the banking needs of various small business owners.
