NOTRE DAME, IN – May 22,2024 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) awarded 24 scholarships to area high school and college students for the 2024-2025 academic school year. Recipients were celebrated during a reception on May 14 at the Morris Inn on the University of Notre Dame campus.

Reba Hayes, Committee Chair and Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO, stated, “The student applicants this year were so enthusiastic as they described their future endeavors. It is an absolute joy to facilitate Notre Dame FCU’s scholarship program each year. This year’s 24 honorees are diverse and engaged young men and women whom I have no doubt are capable of achieving great things.” 

The scholarship committee, comprised of Notre Dame FCU partners (employees) and members of its Board of Directors, chose these students based on their academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, academic activities, and leadership. 

Notre Dame FCU’s President and CEO, Tom Gryp, added, “Notre Dame FCU is deeply committed to empowering families through financial resources and education. This scholarship program is a testament to that commitment, providing these talented students with the support they need to achieve their academic goals and contribute positively to society. The Notre Dame FCU scholarship program has now awarded over 300 scholarships since its inception. ”
