ELKHART, IN – January 22, 2026 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) will open a new full-service branch at 101 S. Main Street, Elkhart, IN 46516, expanding its service to individuals, nonprofits, and businesses in Elkhart County and across northeastern Indiana. The branch is scheduled to open in spring 2026.

The Elkhart Branch will feature a full teller line and drive-up Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), combining personal service with modern banking technology. The credit union’s current Elkhart Mortgage Center will also move into the new space, creating a single location for mortgage and retail services.

As part of its ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusion, Notre Dame FCU holds the Juntos Avanzamos distinction, recognizing credit unions that serve and empower Hispanic and immigrant communities. The Elkhart Branch will include bilingual staff and financial education resources to help more residents access affordable banking and homeownership opportunities.
