Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) announced the hiring of Gary Livacari to the position of Senior Commercial Credit Analyst in the Commercial Lending Department, working out of the Phoenix Branch.

Livacari brings an extensive background in commercial banking, most recently serving Bank of the West as Vice President of Religious Institution Banking, where he specialized in managing a portfolio of over 60 churches throughout Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern California, with over $200 million in aggregate loan exposure.

Livacari graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication and Economics. He earned his Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy in 2009. He graduated from the Kino Catechetical Institute at the Diocese of Phoenix and is a recurring guest lecturer at the Tepeyac Leadership Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to civic leadership development for Catholic professionals. He served for six years on the pastoral council at St. Mary Magdalene in Gilbert, Ariz.

Livacari is a former commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserves, commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 2009 and honorably discharged in 2013.
