Posted on May 13, 2015

Notre Dame, IN – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) announced today its sponsorship of an outdoor Catholic Mass led by Bishop Kevin Rhoades in celebration and thanks for South Bend’s 150 years of history. All area residents are invited to attend the Mass, to be held outdoors at Saint Joseph High School at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31. Bleacher seating is available at the Father Bly Field on E. LaSalle Avenue. No ticket is required. Music will be provided by a multi-parish choir led by local music minister Jeremy Hoy.

In case of inclement weather, Mass will be held in the school’s gymnasium.

Notre Dame FCU President and CEO Tom Gryp said the credit union is happy to sponsor this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. “Supporting the values and beliefs of our members is the cornerstone of our mission. Notre Dame FCU is pleased to celebrate South Bend’s proud history with the local Catholic community.”

The outdoor Mass is also sponsored by Our Sunday Visitor Institute.
