Notre Dame, IN – December 9, 2015 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union announced today its support for the North Central Region in its efforts to be awarded economic development funds as part of the State of Indiana’s Regional Cities Initiative.
“The economic argument in support of North Central Region’s proposal is profound,” said Thomas J. Gryp, Notre Dame FCU President and CEO. “Our Region will be able to immediately leverage the funds awarded through this Initiative to produce hundreds of millions of dollars in value for our local economy and community.”<
Gryp also stated that the credit union will be looking to establish a presence in the Renaissance District as well. “Notre Dame FCU’s technology needs are growing at an ever-increasing rate,” Gryp said. “The access to low-cost, unlimited bandwidth, coupled with an educational, collaborative, and innovative business environment, makes the Renaissance District the natural place for us to look to establish a presence.”
Gryp concluded, “South Bend is our home and we will continue to increase our investment here not only in services for our members, but in our vibrant community as well. The economic future here is very bright and Notre Dame FCU can be counted on to be a partner in that success.”
