Notre Dame FCU Receives National Awards for Outstanding Marketing Achievements

NOTRE DAME, Ind., June 27, 2019 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) was recently honored with four Diamond Awards and four MAC Awards. The awards recognize outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry. The Notre Dame FCU Marketing Team

The Diamond awards were presented by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,300 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in each of 35 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.

The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) presented the MAC Awards, which have been recognizing outstanding marketing achievements since 1986. Judges include marketing, advertising, media and social media professionals from both inside and outside the financial industry.

Notre Dame FCU won the Annual Report, Cutting Edge, One-Time Event, and Video (Non-Commercial)-Single categories for its Diamond Award entries entitled 2017 Annual Report, Credit Union Charity Challenge, Best. Give Back. Ever., and Tessa.

The MAC Awards presented to Notre Dame FCU were in the Annual Report, Community Engagement, Market Segment Program, and Business Development categories for its entries entitled 2017 Annual Report, Best. Give Back. Ever., Certificate Specials, and Parish Proposals.

The Annual Report highlighted stories of some of the credit union’s current members. The Credit Union Charity Challenge drew attention to the competitive and cooperative nature of the Notre Dame and USC credit unions in their annual charity competition. The Best. Giveback. Ever. emphasized the charitable spirit of the credit union during this unique event experience. The Tessa video highlighted the story of current credit union members spending their free time with an 11-year old shelter dog, named Tessa. The Certificate Specials highlighted the different creative approaches taken to promote the certificates to different market segments. The Parish Proposals were created for both the clergy and non-clergy alike at specific parishes emphasizing the service Notre Dame FCU can provide to this type of organization’s unique needs.
