Every Spring, I look forward to sharing good news about our community and the accomplishments everyone has made. During the first quarter, we were able to give back over $300,000 to both you as well as to the communities we serve. We are very blessed to be the conduit for such financial benefit.
While our first quarter was truly superb, the events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic has changed all our lives for the foreseeable future. As your experienced financial partner, we recognize how important it is to review your finances for savings opportunities right now. I understand many of you are under a great deal of stress, and I want you to know we are here to help. No gimmicks—this Spring newsletter is a COVID-19 financial relief informational packet.
These pages are filled with resources available to you as a Member-Owner of Notre Dame FCU. Page 3 outlines a variety of financial relief options currently available. Please know your safety and the safety of our partners (employees) continues to be our top priority. Since stay-at-home orders and social distancing guidelines have us all making hard choices for our family and community, page 4 outlines all the different ways you can bank. Choose based on your comfort level.
Also, be aware that rates are at an all-time low. If you are in a spot to do so, consider refinancing your auto loan and mortgage. As you can see from the member spotlight below, it can significantly reduce your monthly bills, just like it did for Angie.
