John Wingfield Joins Notre Dame FCU as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending

NOTRE DAME, IN – April 23, 2025 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) announced today the addition of John Wingfield as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending, based in the Michiana region.
A South Bend native and U.S. Coast Guard veteran, Wingfield brings extensive experience in commercial banking, business development, and real estate finance. He is known for his relationship-based approach and success in structuring complex deals that support local growth.

Wingfield earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from Indiana University. He served ten years in the U.S. Coast Guard, specializing in search and rescue and federal law enforcement.
He currently serves on several boards including the South Bend Foundation where he currently serves as Board Chair, the South Bend History Museum, and The Uncommon Grit Foundation. In 2018, he was named to the “Michiana 40 Under 40” list for leadership and service.
