Important System Transition Dates & What to Expect

As part of our upcoming system transition, there are a few important dates and actions to be aware of to help make the process as smooth as possible.
Important Reminder Before the Transition
We recommend completing any time-sensitive transactions before the conversion begins, including withdrawing any additional cash you may need for the weekend of June 13–14.
Key Transition Dates
First Week of June
Your new Notre Dame FCU debit card will arrive by mail during the first week of June. Please activate your card as soon as it arrives.
Friday, June 12 at 4:00 PM
- Catholic United Financial CU online and mobile banking services will be discontinued
- Begin using your new Notre Dame FCU debit card
- Temporary daily debit card transaction limits will begin until Monday, June 15
Saturday, June 13 – Sunday, June 14
At 5:00 PM EST on Saturday, June 13, previous CUFCU members will be able to log in to online banking.
During this maintenance window, our core systems will merge to complete your transition to Notre Dame FCU.
While services may be temporarily unavailable, we encourage you to prepare by downloading the Notre Dame FCU Mobile App from your device’s app store so you’re ready to log in on Monday, June 15.
Monday, June 15
At 9:00 AM EST, previous CUFCU members will no longer be in stand in.
All systems are expected to be fully restored on Monday, June 15. At this point:
- Temporary debit card transaction limits will be removed
- You will need to re-enroll in Online & Mobile Banking
- You will need to re-enroll in Online Bill Pay
- Mobile Deposit users should verify enrollment in the Notre Dame FCU Mobile App
How to Re-Enroll in Online & Mobile Banking
Beginning June 15:
- Click Log In on the website or tap Accounts in the mobile app
- Select First Time User
- Enter your new 9-digit member number
- Enter your full Social Security number
- Choose to receive your verification code by phone or email
- Enter the verification code
- Create your new password
- Answer three security questions
- Create your new username
- Register your device to complete setup
Additional Information
Checks
You may continue using your existing checks. Future check orders should use your new account information.
ACH & Automatic Payments
Existing ACH transactions, direct deposits, and automatic payments will continue processing as normal. Any new automatic payments should be set up using your new routing and account number.
