Notre Dame Federal Credit Union Names Robert Shane as Director Of CUSO Services

Notre Dame, IN – September 29, 2021 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) President and CEO Tom Gryp announced the appointment of Robert Shane to serve as the credit union’s first Director of CUSO Services. Gryp said, “As the financial landscape continues to evolve, it is critically important that we change and evolve with it. Shane will lead our efforts in identifying and implementing new products and services that will bring additional value to our owners.”
A graduate of Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Shane has worked in credit unions for the last eighteen years. He is also a graduate of the Credit Union National Association Management School. For the past two years, Shane worked as the CEO of ATL FCU ($15.2M) where he increased non-interest income by 9%. Shane has extensive experience in strategic planning, growth and credit union management.
Shane served his community as an Advisory Board Member with Inner City Christian Federation, Kids Food Basket, and Montessori Advisory Council for Grand Rapids Public Schools. He also serves others as a Financial and Self Improvement Mentor. New to Michiana, Shane is eager to get involved in local causes in the coming year.
