NOTRE DAME, IND. – September 8, 2025 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) announced that Melanie Pearman has joined the credit union as a Mortgage Loan Originator.

Pearman brings more than seven years of financial services experience, including mortgage loan processing and member service, as well as a background in regulatory compliance, process improvement, and financial practices.

At Notre Dame FCU, Pearman will focus on helping members achieve their homeownership goals through personalized guidance and reliable lending solutions. “Melanie’s expertise in mortgage lending and her dedication to accuracy and member service make her an outstanding addition to our team,” said Tonya Brown, Senior Vice President, National Mortgage Services at Notre Dame FCU. “Her ability to build trust and support members through the mortgage process aligns perfectly with our mission of putting people over profit.”

Pearman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Science from Southern New Hampshire University. She also volunteers with Adopt-A-Highway in Niles, Michigan, and has previously supported Junior Achievement, Hope Food Truck, and the Niles Haunted House.
