Sibelle Elia, Member Auto Story

Buying Your First Car

Posted on Oct 11, 2022

Sibelle was born and raised in the Michiana area. Her parents are both originally from Lebanon and she is grateful for the opportunities that have been provided to her family here. Sibelle has deep roots in the community between her local parish, her family-owned restaurant, and in her current role as a Resource Specialist where she works with local foster children. After Sibelle graduated from college in 2017, she began her work with foster children doing skills training and assisting with taking the children to various appointments during their time in foster care.

Sibelle says that her favorite part of her job is that she gets to help these kids in some little way. Even though they are away from their home and their family, she can help to provide some sense of normalcy.

Sibelle came to look for a new car that she would be using in her new job when Notre Dame FCU was holding its special event at Jordan Automotive Group. She has been a member for over 10 years and felt at ease in her first vehicle purchase because the process was so simple and the person who helped her was so knowledgeable.

“My experience was really simple and I feel like the people who work there really give you the individualized attention that you need.”
