Sarah knew she always wanted to be in healthcare. Her mom was a nurse and then, when her grandma had cancer and being in the hospital so much, it became clear to her that being a nurse was her calling.

She recently graduated from Ball State University with an Exercise Science degree and is currently studying at IUPUI in the Occupational Therapy Program.

Sarah’s parents have always supported her and helped take her on visits to colleges that she was interested in. Sarah’s family has always been members of the credit union and when Sarah’s mom saw information about the scholarship program on the website, she encouraged Sarah to apply.
