When it was time for Lexi to go to college, her family had a couple years of hard times. Just as strongly as Lexi’s parents wanted to help her out, Lexi did not want to become a burden to them. 

In determining her plan after high school, Lexi did a lot of research and applied for as many scholarships as she could find. Because of her persistence, drive and determination, she was awarded $12,000 in various scholarships, including one from Notre Dame FCU.

In addition to her scholarship, Lexi was made a 2022 scholarship intern from Notre Dame FCU that she worked this past summer, as well as, maintaining a second job. Lexi’s hard work is helping to ensure that she can get the college education that she desires.
