2026 Summer Newsletter

Posted on Aug 26, 2026

Dear Members,

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. As I look back on the past several months, I am once again reminded of just how much we can accomplish when we work together. Our credit union continues to grow and evolve, but what matters most is what that growth allows us to do: better serve you, strengthen our communities, and help change lives.

Our new branches in Elkhart and Fort Wayne are now fully operational, with outstanding teams in place, ready to serve our members and neighbors in those communities. We also successfully completed the data migration for our former Catholic United Financial Credit Union members and are excited to continue building relationships in St. Paul and St. Cloud, Minnesota.

These milestones represent much more than new locations or expanded geography. They give us new opportunities to bring the Notre Dame FCU mission to more people and communities while remaining focused on the values that have guided us for generations.

In July, we had the privilege of celebrating an exceptional group of students at our annual scholarship luncheon, where we awarded scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year, some of whom had the opportunity to join us for our summer internship program. Spending time with these students is always inspiring. Investing in young people and their education is one of the most meaningful investments we can make, because its impact can extend for generations.

Of course, none of this happens without you. Because of your continued loyalty and support, Notre Dame FCU has contributed more than $1.6 million to local organizations so far this year. Behind that number are real people, real needs, and organizations doing extraordinary work every day in the communities we call home.

That is one of the things that makes a credit union different. We are not a bank; we are better than that. We are owned by you, our members, and we have the privilege of putting those resources back to work for the people and communities we serve.

Thank you for being a member and for allowing Notre Dame FCU to be part of your financial journey. Together, we will continue working to build stronger communities and brighter futures.

Sincerely,
Thomas J. Gryp
