2026 Spring Newsletter

Posted on May 28, 2026

Dear Members,

As we continue through 2026, I am grateful for the opportunity to share an exciting season of growth for Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, our members, and the communities we serve.
On April 1, our merger with Catholic United Financial Credit Union in St. Cloud and St. Paul, MN officially took effect. Our new partners in Minnesota are as energized as the rest of the organization to serve our new Upper Midwest members. While this is an important milestone, I want to reassure you that we remain Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. Our mission, values, and commitment to putting people over profit remain unchanged.

This merger is also a meaningful alignment of two organizations rooted in faith, service, and a shared commitment to helping people and communities thrive. For Notre Dame FCU members, it brings the benefit of a larger network and expanded reach. For Catholic United Financial Credit Union members, it brings greater access to financial tools, technology, and resources while maintaining the same mission-driven service and familiar team they have trusted for many years. Together, we are strengthening our ability to serve more members, families, parishes, schools, and communities with the care and personal attention you deserve.

We are also continuing to grow right here in Indiana. On April 13, we opened a full-service office in Elkhart. This location has been requested by members for a long time, and we are proud to say it is finally here. This new office provides our Elkhart-area members easy access to friendly faces and financial services.

Our growth will continue May 4 with the opening of our new branch in Fort Wayne. This new location allows us to better serve members in northeast Indiana and provide another convenient place to access the full-service credit union support you have come to expect from Notre Dame FCU.
Each of these milestones reflects our continued investment in people, relationships, and communities, guided by the values of faith, service, and stewardship that have shaped who we are.

Thank you for being part of this exciting chapter. We are honored to work with such a dedicated group of partners focused on meeting your financial needs. I am also deeply grateful to you, our owners, for supporting us as we do meaningful work. Nothing would be possible without you. We remain committed to serving you with care, transparency, and respect.

Sincerely,
Thomas J. Gryp
President/CEO
