Dear Members,

As we enter the vibrant season of spring, I find myself reflecting on the remarkable community we’ve built together here at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. It’s a joy to witness the growth and evolution of our credit union, fueled by the unwavering support and dedication of each and every one of you.

Our Financial Ecosystem now includes banking, mortgage, insurance, investment, and trust services. As we continue to grow and expand our mission’s reach to put People over Profit, I want to encourage each of you to remember nothing changes if nothing changes.  If you are finding yourself in a challenging financial situation, PLEASE call us! We only exist to help you meet your financial goals and sometimes that means repairing a bad circumstance. If you do find yourself in one of these temporary situations, allowing us to help could bring relief faster than you think and allow you to finally start getting a good night sleep!

We’re dedicated to protecting your financial well-being, which is why we’re pleased to offer resources and tips on fraud prevention in this issue. Your security is our top priority, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. There seems to be more and more bad players out there every day so please take advantage of these tools to make things a little bit safer. 

I’m also happy to share a significant facet of our credit union that truly sets us apart from the rest. This means we strive to align our priorities with your priorities.  Giving profits back to you and the communities in which you live is not something we do when we decide we have “extra profit”.  Rather, it is a driving mandate to share as much as possible, to benefit as many people as possible, in as many communities as possible.

That’s why, in both 2022 and 2023, we donated 17% of our profits back into our membership via giveback programs, scholarships and donations to non-profit organizations that help so many of our communities thrive. This spirit of shared abundance and community support is a core part of who we are and a huge differentiator in the financial world. It’s another way we demonstrate our dedication to putting people over profit, living up to the values that guide our every decision.
