Notre Dame FCU Welcomes Rick Gonsiorek as Central Indiana Regional Director

OTRE DAME, IND. – May 15, 2024 – Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) announced the appointment of Rick Gonsiorek to the role of Regional Director for Central Indiana. With a distinguished background in education, nonprofit management, and leadership, Gonsiorek brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to service to his new position at Notre Dame FCU.
Born and raised in Chicago, Gonsiorek’s educational journey took him to Holy Cross College and the University of Notre Dame, where he earned his undergraduate degree. Following his graduation, Gonsiorek’s passion for education and service led him to New Orleans, where he served as a member of the New Orleans Volunteer Teacher Program. There, he taught in local Catholic schools and lived in community with the Brothers of Sacred Heart, solidifying his commitment to service and learning.
After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Gonsiorek pursued a graduate degree at Providence College while continuing to teach in New England. In 2010, Gonsiorek made South Bend, Indiana, his permanent home, joining the staff at Holy Cross College. There, he dedicated himself to the institution’s mission of academic excellence and community engagement. Gonsiorek later transitioned to the role of General Manager at Redeemer Radio, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission in the Michiana market. Most recently, Gonsiorek returned to Holy Cross College as a senior member of the college’s enrollment team, spearheading the restructuring of the financial aid department.
Outside of work, Gonsiorek enjoys traveling with his family, and hiking. Gonsiorek has been a member at Notre Dame FCU for 24 years and his deep connection to the credit union underscores his commitment to its values and mission.
